Showing a bit of love for the people who helped me get into this social media lark as well as bigging up new blogs I've recently discovered. Enjoy!
1.
Andy Girvan (@andygirvan)
Big up my little brother. Supergeek, metalhead, techie genius and HTML Developer for Spook/Edelman dahn in London town. Also the person who convinced me that Twitter was worth my time.
2.
Rob Brown (@robbrown)
Author of PR and the Social Web/UK Managing Director of Staniforth. His book and blog have made the difference between me just faffing about on the social web, and actually getting to grips with its value.
3.
Matt Churchill (@geetarchurchy)
New discovery this week. PR Matt's blog is jam packed with thought-provoking posts on PR, newspapers, Social Media and music too. I'm particularly liking his '4 quick-fire questions' on the importance of political blogging, great feature, looking forward to reading more!
4.
Christian Payne (@Documentally)
Freelance photographer, digital media bod and all-round great guy! Christian's 12sec videos/podcasts never cease to entertain and inform me. Recently he documented the arrival of his firstborn beautifully through a series of funny and emotional podcasts, videos, photos and tweets. Oh yeah, and the baby's tweeting too, don't forget to say hi to @minimentally!
5.
Lisa Tse (@sweetmandarin)
The sweetest tweeter on the web! Lisa is one of three sisters who own and run the Sweet Mandarin restaurant and cookery school in Manchester. Lisa is friendly, full of ideas and always on hand to help out her tweeps and her tweets often leave my mouth watering!
